CANCELLATION, RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Dokan Mela covers 7 Days Replacement Guarantee for all furniture and home decoration items sold on Dokanmela.com.

REFUND POLICY (FOR HOME DECOR ITEMS):

Refund is only applicable to the cancelled order items if the ordered product is unavailable or can’t be delivered within maximum 48 hours(in Chittagong City) or within 4 days(Outside Chittagong City)

REFUND POLICY (FOR FURNITURE ITEMS):

Every furniture in Dokan Mela is from an original branded furniture store. If the ordered furniture is available in the store it will be delivered within 48 hours in Chittagong City and within 4 days outside Chittagong City. If the furniture is not available in store, it may take up to 15-20 days to prepare the product depending on the type of furniture you are ordering. Refund is only applicable if the ordered furniture can’t be delivered within 20 days (Inside Chittagong City) and within 25 days (Outside Chittagong City)

REQUIREMENT FOR A VALID RETURN:

  • Proof of purchase (order number, invoice, etc.)
  • Reason for return has to be valid and return acceptance conditions met (check out below)

VALID CONDITIONS AND REASONS TO RETURN HOME DÉCOR ITEM(s)

  • Delivery of wrong product
  • Delivery of defective product
  • Delivery of the products with missing parts
  • Incorrect content on website

CONDITIONS AND REASONS TO RETURN A FURNITURE ITMS(s):

  • Product(s) cannot be returned once received by the customer.
  • Customers are requested to check the product before receiving the product(s).

CANCELLATION & REFUND DUE TO PRODUCT UNAVAILABILITY:

  • Delivery of the ordered items is subject to availability of the products at our vendor’s depot/warehouse/store. Dokan Mela may cancel any order within 4 working days if the stock of the ordered item(s) is temporarily unavailable.
  • In such a case, if the customer has already made an advance payment against the order, the customer will receive a full refund, if not received any cashback, within 2-3 working days. Received Cashback amount will be adjusted with the refund amount.
  • Advance payment is required for the delivery of certain products. We may cancel any order if the advance payment is not made by the customer for such orders.

RETURN/REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE MAY NOT APPLY IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

  • Damages due to misuse of product
  • Incidental damage due to malfunctioning of product
  • Any consumable item which has been used or installed
  • Products with tampered or missing serial / UPC numbers
  • Any damage/defect which is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty
  • Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the box, manufacturer’s packaging if any, and all other items originally included with the product(s) delivered.

N.B: Replacement of the product is subject to availability of the same on Dokanmela.com.
